Rooster Teeth vs. Zombiens App Reviews

Its a fun game however I feel it would be easier to control if there were dual thumb stick controls for movement and attacking. And maybe a weak range weapon so you dont have to lose health on round 1.

I love Rooster Teeth, Ive been following you guys for almost since the beginning, and I bought this game as soon as it came out. However the game is unplayable, some of the mechanics are off, though that may be just my opinion. The main reason is thus, the game crashes every other wave and takes forever to load. I am so sorry guys, I love you, however the game really needs to be updated.

Sometimes I cant control my character anymore and sometimes cant even buy doors

Overall this game is great and really puts the strategizing into the players hands. You can roll out with a team on the offensive, or bunker down behind traps to stay safe. The scarcity and randomness of weapons, health and resources makes for a unique game experience every time. As for what could be changed, there are a few key control issues that make surviving a struggle between you and the games interface, rather than you and the enemies. First off, the RT staff is suicidal. They will run at any zombie unarmed unless you currently have them selected. I would suggest adding the option to command them to hold/defend their position, wherein they wont move until told otherwise. Also, as I just said, when an RT staffer is selected they wont run at enemies. Conversely, if you have the entire party selected, the RT staff will still run at every nearby enemy. If the whole party is selected, you should have full control of every character and thy shouldnt move unless commanded. As for outright bugs, I have encountered three. The first is that health can drop in U reachable places, like inside of objects and on top of the curtains in the studio. The second bug occurred because of the control issues. The only way to prevent martyrdom is to constantly run the characters in a circle. This caused the protagonist to run through a wall, wherein I lost control of him and could not command him. He ran straight into a brute and died. The last bug is more an oversight, as Geoffs "aww yeah!" audio clip doesnt end, and you can hear someone explaining what to say next. Once again, I really love the game. Cant wait to see all the kinks worked out!

I am a huge fan of Rooster Teeth and I was so excited when this game finally came out. I hesitated at first to buy it after reading some reviews but now Im so glad I did. Its not perfect: Sometimes the controls dont respond accurately. The RT people frequently commit suicide. I still havent found Gus. (Okay that one is personal.) Regardless, it is SO FUN to play. Props to everyone involved for creating a relatively difficult and strategic mobile game. Im playing on an iPad 2 and dont seem to have problems. Ive heard about problems with the iPhone 4 so I havent even tried it on my phone. Overall: Bravo!

It would be nice to have a medkit once in awhile

Cool that RT has got a game.. Hope more come because this one just isnt that fun. I think its the controls. Definitely a tablet game. Its pretty hard too.. In a frustrating way, not a challenging way. But the winner "Austins Best Game Studio" has a game! Hopefully more come

This game forces u to lose health. There is no way to regain it. There is little to no time between waves, and its the same control to do everything: tapping. I cant get past wave 3. Dont waste your money on this game.

The game is a great time waster for fans but character dont always listen to your commands and attack the enemy meaning the Rooster Teeth characters you work so hard to have on your team end up dying on you. Also, youll freeze up in later levels making survival that much more difficultly. Here needs to be twice as many different enemy types to keep the game interesting and a bit more referential weapons to seem relevant. No RWBY weapons? Also, story mode, something simple. Still fun though!

Was wry excited about this game after throwing my 4 dollars at the RT fam, I found myself playing one of the most broken apps on the market. Game takes 1 to 2 mins to load and not even 30 seconds into the first game everything freezes up and no matter how long I wait nothing happens. Real bummer man, I hope they fix this soon from the very little Ive seen it looks really fun.

I love this game, but the only problem I have is some glitches. My main guy ended up with no legs and couldnt move. I worked around that by blocking him in and using Ashley the whole time (which was 39 rounds straight). Also the hackers that increased their score in survival while only lasting a few rounds. This makes me mad because I like the whole leaderboards thing if there was a first place that is obtainable without hacking.

There should be a control scheme where you can use a thumbpad instead of tapping the screen, everything else is fine.

I made it to wave 19 and had managed to keep Gus alive, but the game crashed. When I went back to check my score, it said that I only made it to wave 8 and the only person I had rescued was Burnie. Other than that, this game is absolutely top!!

The newest update made the game much better but a save function would also make the game much better too.

If it was not for the fact that it was a roster teeth game I would not give it 5 stars. If your not a fan of rt its no worth the 4$

Most the time when launching the game, I wont be able to move around. I deleted the app. I hope this gets fixed so I can properly play.

As a huge fan of Roosterteeth and Acheivement Hunter, I love this game and think that it is well worth the cost. However, and Im not sure if its just my device, whenever I play the game it seems to be very slow and my character will move after a few seconds of me telling them to instead of moving immediately. Also, when I get to a later wave, my game crashes entirely and I have to start over. Its a great game overall and Ive enjoyed playing it, but like most games, it still needs some improvement.

The game is naturally very fun and challenging. Though when you get two giant green zombiens in rounds 2-3 it makes it almost impossible to continue on and survive. However the VO is neat and witty and the concept is cool. However, I constantly get a bug where the player character will cease to be able to purchase weapons or pick up health or anything like that. Which, when it occurs, obviously makes it unplayable.

I love Rooster teeth and Achievement Hunter, and a game that lets me play as them and walk around their office is a dream come true. The game is addicting, and the quotes are hilarious. However, after a while, characters arent able to interact with doors, vending machines, or health. Also I believe that people should be ranked by the wave they got to.

This game could be great if there werent so many bugs sometime your guy doesnt even move or attack, the wave says it started but nothing comes come u can do better than this rooster teeth.
